How 2 Survive This Most Wonderful Time of Year!

This Sunday 11/29 @ Eagle Pointe Church we’ll be doing our Faith In Action Sunday Celebration, showing our F.I.A. “Day Of” Video, and taking Communion together as a Church family in all 3 services.

In addition to that, I’ll be doing a mini-message entitled “How 2 Survive This Most Wonderful Time of Year“. In light of several conversations I’ve had this past week, God has made it incredibly clear that this is going to be a much tougher Christmas season for many people than in years past. I knew it was going to be tough, but God really opened my heart & eyes to just how tough it was going to be for many.

This past week I’ve talked to so many who have lost their jobs, taken big pay cuts to stay employed, are dealing with the loss of a loved one, and/or hurting over the loss of a marriage or relationship. While it has been an incredible week of ministering to others, it has also been mentally & emotionally exhausting wrapping my brain & heart around the hurt that so many are dealing with. In light of all of this, God grabbed a hold of my heart and would not allow me to run with what we had planned for this weekend. So once again, this is becoming a regular occurrence, God is shaking things up a bit.

I encourage you to not miss this Sunday @ Eagle Pointe! Not only will our F.I.A. video and Communion time be very special, but this message will be very timely & beneficial as well. God is going to speak to each of us individually and help equip us to be able to minister to all the people around us who are hurting this Christmas season.  I look forward to seeing you this Sunday @ Eagle Pointe & I encourage you to invite people you know who are hurting.
