Outrageous Compassion – Food Drive this Sunday
Last Sunday at Eagle Pointe, Aaron Gable our Connections Pastor, taught on one of our Eagle Pointe core values “Outrageous Compassion”. As a part of that message he shared how this Sunday 9/12 we will be collecting food/ canned goods for Must Ministries. They are a great organization which serves the homeless men, women, & children in the NW Atlanta area.
Please load up on some supplies this week & bring them with you to Eagle Pointe this Sunday. We will have a collection area set up & ready to receive them. Please see the note below from Must Ministries as to their situation and the supplies the desperately need.
A NOTE FROM MUST MINISTRIES: We are completely out of canned chicken, ham, tuna, salmon, or protein of any kind. Also, we have no flour, instant potatoes, jelly, dry milk, oatmeal, grits, canned beans, spaghetti sauce, canned spaghetti meals, tomatoes or tomato sauce. We are running very low on dry beans, rice, boxed diners, mac & cheese, and spaghetti. The need in the last month is up over 200% from last year’s numbers and we are finding it extremely hard to keep up. Please consider having an emergency food drive at your church, school or business location. It may save someone’s life.
Let’s respond with Outrageous Compassion & help serve those who are less fortunate. Again, load up on supplies & bring them with you to Eagle Pointe this Sunday!
PS. This Sunday @ Eagle Pointe is going to be pretty amazing on many fronts!
