Take the God Plunge/ Baptisms & Vuvuzelas

On Sunday morning Oct. 10th, as a part of our Sunday AM worship services, we will be having baptisms. It’s getting a little chilly for the lake (where we do summer baptisms) plus there’s not much water in the lake – so we’re bringing the party indoors. Please do not miss this special event as we celebrate & cheer on these people who are going public with their faith. Bring your Vuvuzelas & let’s make some noise for these people! (* CLICK HERE if you’re unfamiliar with the Vuvuzela)

If you have recently made a decision to follow Christ, or if you made that commitment some time ago, but have never followed through by being baptized, we encourage you to take the next step in your walk of faith by Taking the God Plunge!!!  This is a great opportunity for you to obey the command of Jesus to follow Him in Baptism. Invite your family & friends to come watch. If you would like to Take the God Plunge please call our Eagle Pointe office (770) 421-1643 or e-mail: office@eaglepointe.org  A.S.A.P.

***Also, I encourage you to watch this video below of a message I gave in the Spring which answered just about all the questions most people have about baptism… Watch it, think & pray about it, & let us know if you’re ready to take the plunge???

Baptisms are always exciting occurrences in the life of a church. What amazes me, though, in a bad way, is how many Christians who grow up in church make it into adulthood without becoming baptized. It’s important to emphasis baptism fairly regularly so that doesn’t happen.

God bless you and your church as you look forward to October 10th.

  2. I agree completely. We have so many coming to Christ in their adult years. We’ve baptized over 60 people this year & should have another 15 or so on the 10th. Amazing to see God doing His thing!
