Momentum – Big Announcement

This past Sunday night Dec. 5th we had a GREAT Momentum Christmas Bash! In addition to having a wild & crazy time Eagle Pointe style & having WAY too much good food (we don’t know how to do anything without a bunch of good food) – it was also our 7th Anniversary Party. 7 years ago this past weekend we re-started Eagle Pointe church with a core group of 40 committed people & it is nothing short of a miracle to see where God has brought us to so far.

While reflecting & sharing about the God-sized journey & adventure of the past 7 years, I also made a BIG – HUGE – audacious announcement about what God is leading Eagle Pointe church to do in 2011. Once again God is taking us out of our comfort zone, to stretch us & use us, to reach more people for Jesus.

Please take the time to listen to the message from Momentum where I shared the news with our church family… http://eaglepointe.org/media.php?pageID=6

This Christmas season & 2011 are going to be some very exciting times & I cannot wait to go on this ride God is about to take us on. As great as the last 7 years have been ———- we ain’t seen nothing yet – the best is yet to come!

Let’s be bold – let’s get crazy – let’s be reckless & audacious for the cause of Christ!

See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.”  (Isaiah 43:19)

Soon I’ll be sharing how we need our entire church to step up & help us as we make some big changes, transitions, & embark on this God-sized endeavor.
