The Low-Down on My Heart Attack

You may have noticed that my blog has gone quiet in the last week or so. There’s good reason for this. Last Wednesday Dec. 14th @ 3AM, I was rushed to the hospital suffering from an incredibly intense pain in my chest.

I cannot thank our incredible Eagle Pointe family & friends all over the U.S. & around the world for the overwhelming prayers & support we have received. The fact that I am alive & writing this today is an absolute Christmas miracle. Prayer works! GO GOD!!!

In this short video below I explain to our church family what had happened, as well as, what the long-term prognosis is – have a look…

  1. God definitely looked out for you and it is clear that your mission on this earth is not even close to complete! We are blessed to call you our pastor and friend and we look forward to many, many years of doing God’s work with you as our leader and inspirator.

Howard, I did not hear about what happened to you until I saw it on Facebook. “Please pray for pastor Howard”… I said what? No way. Started to check more into it and I was told what had happend. Still could not believe it. Well, prayers have definiately been answered and so glad you are home and with the family. You bring so much inspiration to all of us at EPC. We have such a wonderful family who care and I see God working in our church. We all love you and are very bless to know you and your family. God is working with all of us and we will continue to grow because of who we are and what we have in God’s home. It is a great blessing to be apart of EPC and looking to be there doing what God wants us to do. May your Holidays be blessed and it is great knowing you , your family and the worship family we have. Best to you and the family and a better 2012.

I am just one of many that are grateful to Him that you are well. Lean back a little and rest in His provision and sufficiency, work at His pace, and enjoy the scenery a little more than usual. Maybe there is something He wants you to see or let someone else do.? Who knows? There’s only one thing for sure, He can use this for His glory and our good.

    Merry Chrismas
